Stupid Odd Accent
I just updated my fanfiction, it made me rather proud of myself. I mean I did not update it since March and I am sure most people who read my story probably have completely forgotten it, but anyway, considering this is a Naruto story, and considering I do not have a large fan base, I think having 32 reviews for two chapters is quite good.
I should honestly write something for the ending of that Yugioh story, but Yugioh is so far from my passion now that, writing something about some pitiful cartoon character's past stops being interesting, especially when I now see how impossible my story is from the very beginning. Unfortunately, I do have a few friends (maybe two or three) who do want me to finish and they are very good at putting guilt trips on me. Um... anyway, I also wrote another Naruto story, its sort of a new idea, spur of the moment thing. Sort of funny in many odd ways, and I am planning to keep it so. Looks like a few people liked it. I am rather glad about that. Got back an e-mail from Ms. Jeckovac, she seems to be living a happy life, I am glad for her. She said I would be a good writer if I put my work in it... I am flattered, of course, but really I don't see myself writing books becuase of my tendency of starting things unfinished. It's quite a bad habbit and I desperately want to break that. I hate it, when ever I read a book or watch a movie, their language always wears on me. I can't help it, but I think it is really causing me problems. I have a stupid liking to English films and for this reason, at times some of the words I speak have an English accent which is very stupid seeing I am in Canada and no one has an English accent. So a bunch of people go around saying I have an English accent even though I never took one step into England or ever been around any one with an English accent. To make the matter worst, I honestly don't think I am ever going stop liking English films. So I will probably have an odd, not really but kind of British accent for the rest of my life. Luckily, I also love Chinese dramas, so my language won't be completely confonded to English films, but really, its getting tiresome. Vanity Fair seems like a good book. I think I will read it sometime. There are 67 chapters, but each chapter is so short I think I may be able to read it. Oh on a good note. I actually started on my History essay. I love writing the narrative first paragraph, but I am sure the next four will be very hard to write. posted by Arc 6:10:00 PM |
